Tristan Weymes appointed as Conductor of LYC Cambiata Boys’ Choir

Tristan has been appointed as Conductor of the London Youth Choirs’ Cambiata Boys’ Choir from January 2026, having previously worked with the group as an Assistant Leader. This comes alongside LYC’s drive to get more boys singing across the organisation, and Tristan will play an important role in raising the musical bar in the choir of 11-15 year old boys.

He will draw on his experience teaching boys singing, as a singing teacher at Tiffin School, and as Director of Choral Music at Wilson’s School. He runs the Cambiata Choirs at both of those school, and teaches across the secondary school age range. He is hugely excited to be one of the organisation’s conductors, having been a member of the organisation from the age of 15.
